Review : Scar Healing Salve, All Purpose Salve

Hi guys, how do you do?

Since i fall in love with anything more natural, preservatives free, silicone free, and any harsh-chemical free, i look a lot of more natural product sellers. There are a lot of them, and this is one of a brand i love. Not because of the products but also the service. I asked her a lot like i could waste all her time by just replied my message. Teehee.. But she is still kind to replied me as any other normal customers. :)

Let me introduce you to BOTANINA.

I bought so many kind of products as you can look below and i really like it. Especially those tiny tins of salve. One is a scar healing salve and the other is all-purpose healing salve. I always carry them around. Seriously. Lol.
They are lavender buds in sachet (the big pouch) and smells amazing, scar healing salve, all-purpose healing salve, flat tummy operator, room and linen spray : Citrus Vanilla (for my honey) and mind booster.

Let's take a see of the scar healing salve first.
Using Helichrysum oil aka Immortelle (yes you are reading right, that is the same ingredients in the famous L'o******* brand), this salve helps healing wounds, fading scars, reducing appearance of surgical scars & skin blemishes.

How to use :
Apply to the wounds/ scars a couple times a day. It may take 3-6 months for old scars

Netto : 15 gram

Ingredients :
Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, Beeswax, Lavender Oil, Helichrysum Oil, Vit E.

Please do a skin patch test prior to using. Avoid direct contact with eyes, food & food utensils. Keep out of reach of pets. Keep in a cool place.

Shelf life : 6 months (no worry they put a sticker to remind you)

Scents : The scent is so nice but idk how to describe it to you. It is definitely not the scent of olive oil or coconut oil and not from lavender too. Because i never sniff a single oil either helichrysum or rosehip seed, and i read that helichrysum has a herb scent so i guess the scent come from the helichrysum.
PS : I already received my helichrysum in rosehip seed and it smells like... herbal drink i guess (jamu). But, i got another lavender too (Bulgary) and well, the scent is blend of those mostly lavender. :)
As this web stated  "The aroma is distinct and hard to describe, but it's definitely rich, a little earthy, but also sweet and a little fruity. Kinda like honey, but not at all like honey."

But why Helichrysum Italicum
As GoW  stated, "Helichrysum is considered a potent healer, anti-inflammatory and tissue repair stimulant. It is rapidly becoming a favorite as a cell regenerator and has been proven to reduce the formation of scar tissue! It is best known for its effect on bruises, wounds and other injuries, as well as for reducing pain."

And from another source
"Properties:  This essential oil is antispasmodic, anticoagulant, antiallergenic, antimicrobial, antihaematomic, antiphlogistic, nervine, antiinflammatory, antitussive, cicatrisant, expectorant, febrifuge, anti septic, cholagogue, emollient, mucolytic, fungicidal, hepatic, diuretic, splenic, and cytophylactic.
Health benefits: Patients regularly use this essential oil because it reduces spasms, maintains the fluidity of blood, fights allergies, inhibits microbial infections, dissolves and clears blood clots, reduces inflammation from fever, and is good for nervous system health. Furthermore, it reduces various other types of inflammation, clears phlegm and reduces coughs, heals scars, , protects wounds from becoming septic, stimulates proper bile discharge into the stomach, makes skin smooth and young, dissolves mucus, and kills fungus. It is also notoriously good for the liver and spleen, while stimulating urination and the regeneration of new cells."

I bet those majestic properties is the main reason they use Helichrysum in their ingredients.

What i use this for?
I use this for my old scar. new scars, my boyfriend scars, my mom scars as well. I used to put this on my face but unfortunately i can't stand the other ingredient. Pimples started out the day after i used. I think the culprit is coconut oil since it has high rate to clog the pores. source  And for my old scars, it starts fading :)

Next please~

I have another salve which is an all-purpose healing salve.
Using blends of four essential oils, this salve has benefit properties of analgesic, anti-bacterial, anti fungal, antiseptic, scar healing, and anti-inflammatory.

How to use :
Use as needed on itchy skin, bruises, cuts & scrapes, insect bites, burns, eczema, poison ivy, bee stings, measles, chicken pox, ringworm and cradle cap.

Netto : 15 gram

Ingredients :
Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Lavender Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Lemon Oil, Patchouli Oil, Vit E.

Please do a skin patch test prior to using. Avoid direct contact with eyes, food & food utensils. Keep out of reach of pets. Keep in a cool place.

Those essential oils definitely have great properties as stated above. I love lavender and tea tree to keep my acne calm. I never use this on my face and i think i won't use it too.

A great story about this salve. So one day my mom cooked shrimps in worchestershire sauce (saus inggris) and she left the tail on. When i ate it, a little piece of the tail stick into my index finger. After i take it off, i spread my all-purpose healing salve and felt nothing after. The scrape healed in instant :) No hurt, no bleed :)

What do you think about those salves?
